Most of the time humans don't want to be aware or made aware that the "person" they are interacting with is a robot. As one tends to forget that a dog is a dog and not a human one forgets that a robot is a robot. To enjoy the company of robots one should allow the natural tendency of humans to discriminate robots from humans.
In most countries the laws don't insist for a robot to proactively stick out as such. No visible labels are required. The "number plate" for robots, though for some decades not uncommon in certain countries, becomes a thing of the past finally. Among most humans it's considered to be a sign of lacking sophistication to show off a robot as a robot.
On the other hand one might definitely want to be informed of whether or not the "person" one is talking to is a machine. But how?
Firstly, the robot has to truthfully answer when asked: "Are you a robot?"
Secondly every robot is obliged to constantly send a close range transponder signal which of course can't be directly trace to the owner by any civilian.

By selecting a color spectrum for the text that's closer to skin tones the artist emphasizes the discretion of the identification call.
