Lessing is convinced that the genetically determined joy of ownership will keep a collector scene alive forever. In this picture he refers to collectors of antique robots. "Tracy" has been the first artist designed and programmed art robot that fetched over a million dollars at a Christie's auction.

"Tracy - sold at auction", Bo Lessing, 2271
1 "Tracy"
2 "Artists: James Gillford (sculpture), Paula Berg (Personallity). Year: 2191. Auctioned: 2231. Sold for at Christie's"
3 "T1.600.00 US$"
This was the highest prices ever paid for an art robot. However, the creators Gillford and Berg are viewed as pioneers on their field, there works very sought after.
4 "Art robots" --- This term refers to humanoid sculptures that mostly don't resemble your typical photorealistic human. Some a bit monstrous, some styliszed, some very abstract. The personality and, later in art history, the biography of the art robot is a vital part of its relevance in the market.
5 "Christie's " --- continues to be the first address when it comes to buying and selling outstanding pieces.
